As many of you know paulie who is the pretty little bird on the icon and who has put pictures of himself up in this group.

Up there is a video of paulie talking and singing.

So because i posted a video of my cockatiel i want to see everyone elses beautiful birds sing! record them and post them on youtube and comment with the link so people can comment on the videos! ^_^

Hey people. I was just wandering... Is there anyone from Denmark (Aalborg area) who would like to buy my whiteface cockatiel? Reason - instead of a girl and a guy I got two males and they are fighting badly. Separating them did not help...

Hey guys and girls!
I have a question considering my birds behavior. I have them for 2 months now and they are quite passive. First they were at least chewing ropes and girl really liked to attack and swing birdpuzzle. No they are not interested in anything. I have 2 wooden toys with bells and knots, birdpuzzle, ropes and a little playground - but they are not interested at all! As soon as I open a cage they just simply go on top of it and fall asleep :( Please tell me what is wrong with them.

Hmmm. This could be dietary, or something they have. You may want to take them in to be looked at. They should be more active than that.

Well in overall they look healthy so I hope it's not this :( I was wandering - I have them for two months only - could it still be adaptation? Also they been through a lot of stress lately. We had to take them back to the petshop, we clipped their wings and we put them in a new cage. I guess all this could cause this behavior. Please let me know what you think.

Stress can be a major factor. Birds don't like change, but it's good for them to re-arrange the cages every so often. They also don't like when things in their environment change, like a new piece of furniture, a new toy.

My wife clips are birds' wings regularly herself. They don't like it, but I think they're somewhat used to it on a certain level.

someone brought me a little lost tiel today. :( his wings werent clipped, but he/she is mature, full grown, and seemingly healthy. the person who gave him to me said he's been in his garden for about 3 weeks now, so he's been lost for at least 3 weeks. he talks and blows kisses and while he doesnt seem to like to be held, he is very cuddly, and he was definately someone's pet. like i said his wings werent properly clipped so he could be a long way from home. he has a gray body, yellow crest, orange cheeks, and gray circles above his eyes. his primary flight feathers were yellow on his left and gray on his right. i did clip them, because he kept flying into things. if anyone knows anyone who's lost a cockatiel, let me know.
